DORNEY PARK
REPORT SUBMITTED D.E. Mac
Steel Force, Steel Force, Steel Force everywhere. First thing
you see from Rt. 78.It Can be seen from every ride in the park. Every in-park
store has Steel Force t-shirts, Sweat shirts, golf shirts, Steel Force magnets,
address books and Steel Force coaster coasters. I forgot they even have Steel
Force underwear. (Plaid boxers W/ Steel Force logo in corner) All this and
it still won't be open till the end of May.
We ( Dana, Dooley and myself) got there at noon. Great weather
and no lines. Everything was almost a walk on. Longest wait was on Laser.
We were on line when they added the second train had to wait all of 5
minutes.
Hercules,we Rode it first and for some reason didn't ride it
for the rest of the day. Could be the headaches. It now has color pictures
at the exit.
Thunderhawk was as good as ever. Dana pointed out that if you
ride in the front car, you can get some great air time. I'm 6'1" 220lbs.
and I was lifted at least 6" off the seat at the top of every hill.
Laser, same as last year. (I love the smell of grease
in the afternoon)
All in all, a great time. The employees were very friendly,
the food was fairly cheap and Steel Force was a sight to behold.
